ABOUT HEALTHY MELROSE

Healthy Melrose Family Wellness and Fitness Fair is a yearly event begun in 2009 by a team of Melrose residents, educators, city leaders and health and fitness professionals. The City of Melrose and Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, a member of Hallmark Health, are the generous sponsors of this event.

The purpose of the event is to create enthusiasm in the Melrose community for residents of all ages to adopt a healthy and physically active lifestyle. We hope to improve the quality of life for Melrosians and surrounding areas by helping them find ways to make health and fitness a priority.

The event will be an important source of information, presenting many different fitness and nutrition options through demonstrations, participatory activities, table displays and free samples from natural-local-organic food suppliers.
